Hello,
Centered in Avignon, we would very much like to visit Roussillon and stay one night. Does anyone know, other than renting a car, how to get there by bus, shuttle, or taxi? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check Rome-2-Rio website, it looks like there's a train from Avignon to Cavaillon and a bus from there to Roussillon. You would have to look at the train and bus websites to see schedules and see if they would work for you. It may be a bit cheaper to do it that way but renting a car would be much more convenient. I stayed in Roussillon when I was in provence but I picked up a rental car at the Avignon TGV station and drove. I was staying there for 5 nights and I needed a car to visit the other towns/villages in Provence that I wanted to see.
