Hi travelers,
First time arriving at CDG. I will arrive in September on American Airlines from the East Coast in the morning and I need to greet my friend who will be arriving two hours later on Delta Airlines from Los Angeles. Can you please advise me; is it easy to find which entrance through customs my friend will take so I can be there to greet him?
Also, a good back-up place to meet in the terminal in case we miss each other?
And, which direction to head for catching a taxi?

You will land at Terminal 2A, your friend should come in at Terminal 2E. Just take the long walk through Terminal 2C and past the TGV station to 2E. You can have a back up as the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel which is by the TGV station.
Look at sites which provide maps to CdG and pick out a position suitable to the two of you. I'd go for someplace like a café where you can sit and wait, with a coffee or snack. This used to be easy to do with the official airport map but the authorities redesigned the site to make it almost impossible to decipher. "If it ain't broke, don'f fix it."
