Getting a Navigo at CDG on a rail strike date ?

We will arrive at CDG on April 23, a scheduled rail strike date. Will the ticket office be open to sell us Navigo setups ?? I had thought I was so clever to arrive on a Monday to maximize the value of Navigo including the €10 RER fare into Paris.

@Mona -- the best laid plans...
Luckily, we only have train strike questions on this trip -- unless United or Swiss come up with something in the next few weeks.

The RATP offices remain open at CDG on strike days but RER B service has been reduced to 1 in 3 sometimes 1 in 4 trains. The SNCF offices will probably be closed. There are two RER stations at CDG, one at terminal 2 and one at Roissypôle which serves terminals 1 & 3.

If you do not have a Navigo Découverte card, they must be picked up at the window. If the windows are closed, you can still purchase fares at the ticket kiosks but there may not be many trains actually operating if you arrive on a strike day.

The controller strikes rarely affect transatlantic flights. If you are making a connection through CDG, you may experience unforeseen delays and cancellations after your CDG arrival.
