Hi we had to test today to get back to the US having just arrived in Paris from Zurich yesterday as it is the end of our trip. Since we were only going to be here basically 2 1/2 days I just gave up trying on the PS as we knew we would be testing today, Monday, and leaving early Wednesday morning. I did, however, download the ToutAntiCovid app and basically forgot about it but it didn’t forget me! As I was taking photos of the QR codes from the pharmacy for extra protection (they gave us hard copy printout) the Tout app basically snagged the QR code by itself and loaded both our codes on itself. VERY handy getting into restaurants today and we thus did not have to carry hard copy of our test results. Sweet little app! If you test here will work great for you for 72 hours.
Also we find some of the very casual and local places not asking but EVERYWHERE else is.

The QR code to which cchapin is referring IS the pass sanitaire.
Remember , the pass sanitaire comes in one of three “flavors:”
- proof of vaccination
- Proof of negative test newer than 72 hours old
- Proof of recovery from Covid within past six months (but longer ago than 2 weeks)

I don't understand.
If you were in Switzerland I assume you had the Swiss version of the Europe wide pass. That means all you needed was the US mandate negative test before you fly in.

Duh! So this is basically the PS? Lol, my bad. Anyway has worked great.
In both Switzerland and Austria all we needed at the time were CDC cards.
