My partner and I will be in France in mid-March. Our primary destination is 5 days Chamonix since we are serious snowboarders. This means we'll be traveling with more luggage than typical, including an oversized ski bag that that stresses me out. We hope to arrange day trips to Italy and Switzerland from Chamonix, but that will be dependent on snow conditions, mood, convenience, etc.
We'll be flying in and out of Paris and had planned to spend 2 days in Paris on arrival and another overnight there before our flight home. And we also planned to spend a day in Geneva. But now I'm second guessing and wonder if a third day in Paris would be easier and more rewarding than Geneva.
The pros of and extra night in Paris are: Less stress of travel and more time to see Paris, perhaps even getting comfortable and more familiar with it.
The pros of Geneva: Seeing a new city and a new country.
Any tips?
