Hi, unfortunately we're scheduled to fly Air France from SFO to Rome via Paris CDG on the 7th of March. That's the day the general strike is scheduled & it sounds like it'll be worse than the previous ones. Would anyone have an idea or know if Air France personnel and/or CDG will be joining this strike? So far I understand that train travel, trash pickup, refineries, will be affected but nothing about airlines/airports. Just checking in case I missed anything. It's difficult to wait in suspense not knowing as the time is almost near. Thanks.

You'll find a good thread on this topic here, but as you say, it is still too early to call how CDG is going to be affected. Previous strikes pretty much just impacted Orly, but this one could be different. Sadly, the best advice right now is wait and see, or proactively change your itinerary. Neither are great options, I know...

Thank you History Traveler. Definitely would like to avoid the headaches of revising our trip for sure. This was to replace our canceled trip due to COVID in 2020 & now this. It seems as though we're great at picking travel dates!
