Gare du Nord early weekend morning: Safe?

I have a 10:30 am flight out of CDG Saturday. I’m thinking of taking RER B to CDG around 7 am. Is it safe? I understand there has been construction going on and that youth from the suburbs come in groups into Paris. I am a single traveler of Asian ancestry. Can anyone vouch for safety weekend mornings? Has anyone taken it to the airport then? In a pinch can one find a taxi there to CDG? I like getting the exercise in before a long wait at the airport and a 10 hour flight back home. Thanks!

I cannot speak to the safety in the early morning hours at GdN, but at that hour, I would take a taxi and plan on being at CDG at 7:30. ( 3 hours prior for an international flight). I would leave no later than 6:45. Your hotel can arrange for a taxi. There will be an extra charge + the pre fixe cost of the taxi which is dependent upon where you are staying.

Early mornings are probably the safest time. No worries there. The main worry is weekend work on the B tracks, but it looks like you're good this Saturday. If you're not talking about this Saturday, then double check (or have the hotel double check) ahead of time.

As a single female last summer I took the RER B to CDG at that time and felt perfectly safe. I took it from Place St Michele

Paris is not Seattle or Chicago -- violent crime is very very rare. I would have no concern about Nord at that time (even the pickpockets are not working that early usually)

The RER B is perfectly safe. If you are really concerned, wait for one of the express trains that will not stop after Gare du Nord until Parc des Expositions. The two CDG stops are next after Parc des Expositions.

Unless you are part of an enormous bus entourage where everyone is carrying massive orange Hermès shopping bags, no one will notice your ethnic background.

I’ve been through a Gare du Nord twice, both coming from cdg in late morning or early afternoon. I think it’s probably easier to navigate than Les Halles Chatelet. In case there’s a problem though, I’d like to be able to find a cab fast. I wonder if I could use Uber in a pinch from the Gare du Nord.
Enough physical activity before and I’ll be able to sleep much of the time on the plane.
