The article linked below describes this fascinating place in the 5th, it's near to the Grand Mosque of Paris at the Jardin des Plantes. Looks like a good way to spend an hour or two, Lots of bones of all kinds in Paris. Have you been there?

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!! OMG. I am so going there the MOMENT I get to Paris this winter! How have been missing this wonderful place all these years?!?! Thank you THANK YOU for posting. :-)

Wow! That's quite a reception, glad you found that so interesting. We will stop by in September, we have the Grand Mosque on our itinerary ;-))

Yeah, a little OTT, but I am a massive bone hunter/collector and that place looks RIGHT up my alley. :-)

I'm a biologist (mammalogist by training) and we are planning on going to the Natural History Museum when we go to Paris in the next few weeks. How could a nerd resist the home of Jean Baptiste Lamarck?
