We are flying into France with a short stop in Paris. We will be taking the Roissy bus from CGD and would love to make a stop at Galleries Lafayette since the bus stops near. Does Galleries Lafayette or another nearby location have a luggage storage area? I am trying to be economical with my time so we don't have to check in to our Rue Cler hotel and then come back Galleries Lafayette.

The Roissybus halted all operations last March. There are no airport buses unless you take 350 or 351, but that will cost you time, not save any time.
You can take a taxi, from the official taxi queue, to Galleries Lafayette for 56€. The fare is fixed for up to 4 passengers and luggage. A taxi to the rue Cler area is fixed at 65€.
There is probably a luggage storage service near Galleries Lafayette. You might check one of these services:

You could try Stasher or any comparable service and look for storage places near the Galleries. It seems like there are plenty of places like this all over the city. We’ve used Stasher in both Paris and Dublin to store luggage for a few hours.
I used to use the RoissyBus exclusively regardless of where in Paris I was going from CDG. Sadly, and as mentioned, this service has been discontinued. If it were me, I would take a taxi directly to your hotel, drop your bags, and then take a bus or Metro unencumbered to Galleries Lafayette (20–30 minutes depending on route). It will be much less hassle than taxiing to the store, dealing with luggage storage and retrieval (likely costing you that 20–30 minutes), and then still having to get across town to your hotel toting luggage on a bus or Metro.
Note that a lot has changed for tourism post COVID but people don't take down sites that give outmoded or plane bad advice like you got about the non existent Roissy Bus. I have been steered wrong by websites for failed businesses in Paris that still show opening time for example although they have been gone for years.
Good idea to check here as you did.
Just take a cab to your hotel and stow valuables and luggage and work out your first day travel from there.
Thank you for the information. The Roissy bus is listed in the RS Paris 2026 book. I have taken it a few times before when I have stayed in the Rue Cler neighborhood, however the last few times i have stayed either in the Marais or Ile de St Louis and used the RER. I always like a plan on how to get to my hotel after a long flight.
Even good guidebooks can't be totally up-to-date. From the time they are researched and written up, and published and disbursed to the retail sector, restaurants could close, hotels could change their prices, and public transportation can undergo minor and major changes.
