G7 Paris Taxi: On Time?

I’m going to request a G7 Paris Taxi for this Thursday, 10/24. I’d like to be picked up at 12:15pm... in your experience, are they normally on time? Wondering how much leeway i should factor in.
Thank you in advance.

Taxis typically show up 5 to sometimes 10 minutes in advance. Be ready before the scheduled pickup time.

If you are going to CDG, allow one hour en route time. I should take less but being late is probably not something you want to worry about. If going to ORY, allow 30 to 45 minutes depending upon your Paris departure point.

Tocard, thanks. Yes to CDG - i’ve flown out of there dozens of times, i’ve just never requested a taxi before now.

Just so you are not caught off guard, back a while ago there was a topic on someone thinking they were ripped off by paying more than the flat rate to CDG.

But by preordering a taxi, you pay an additional charge of 7 euro, plus they can charge any wait time if you are not standing there on the curb at pickup.

Normally, they are on time and often ahead of time, so be prepared for that. Are you using the app based service or booking on the web site? I like them and their app service, plus the fare is transparent.

I book them 10+ times a year and they are always on time. Very reliable service.

I’ve only used them twice to return to CDG - both times they were already downstairs when I went downstairs and I always go down 5-10 minutes early .

In my semi-vast experience of using G7 to the airport, the cabs are always there 5 to 10 minutes in advance -- they don't start charging for wait time till the time you ordered for the cab. If you order it for 12:15 and they arrive at 12:10 and you get to the car at 12:20, they will charge for 5 minutes of wait time. and then the reservation fee of 7 Euro and then the flat fee -- all of which will be loaded on the meter as you take off. I was only late once -- my husband and luggage were on the curb but I was finishing up a couple of things in the apartment, checking locked windows etc and was 5 minutes late getting down.

Thank you all. I do know the flat rate and the €7 charge for pre-arranging pick-up.
I just needed to know what time to tell them and how accurate their time is. Now i know - merci bien.
