Future strikes

I have not been paying much attention to the ongoing strikes. But now I plan to go to France for a couple of months utilizing public transport. (Skipping Paris except to change trains.)

Have the strike organizers said anything about how long they will go on?

Have the strike organizers said anything about how long they will go on?

I have not followed the issue closely, but I suspect they do not know how long they will persist in making life miserable/chaotic for others.

One possibility is they get what they want and the strikes end.

Another is they realize they will not get what they want, and quit the strikes.

Or they realize they are not going to get what they want but persist in making things miserable and the continuing disruptions become the 'normal'

My crystal ball is out for refurbishment, so cannot do any better in providing a useful answer. Sorry

Good Luck!

The strikes are still continuing in several sectors. I believe the next big protest day (when even more sectors join in the strike, and when they do protest marches) is Jan 9.

Beware the risk of flight personnel strike on Jan 3 (we should know about that by end of day Monday)

We will be there in early Jan., so we’ve been following. Appears they are taking a break and running transport at about 50%, instead of the 10%. The plan is to kick it back up Jan 9.
