From CDG to Paris on 3/22 with ongoing strikes?

We are arriving in Charles De Gaulle on 3/22, and need to get to our AirBnB in Paris.

What do you think the best way to get there is, if strikes are ongoing? What's train service from CDG to Gare du Nord been like? Should we pre-book a taxi? What do you think are odds of a flight being cancelled altogether?

Also have Eurostar tickets on 3/29, but so far Eurostar cancellations haven't been that severe.

Thanks.

50% of the normal train service is operating between the airport and Gare du Nord at the moment. It's not ideal, but if taxis are problematic it will get you to Paris. Once in Paris, the metro operates almost normally.

Almost all international flights are still going, so I won't panic about getting to Paris. For ground transportation, I would check the news to see if there are any major strikes scheduled for the 22nd. If not, I would just get in line for an official taxi--not pre-book.

You can't pre-book a taxi at the airport. You get in the quick-moving official line where you'll be directed to your cab.

Yes, getting in line at the airport is basically the equivalent of pre-booking a taxi elsewhere.

Also please note that fares between the airport and the city of Paris are fixed -- €55 to the Left Bank and €62 to the Right Bank. So you don't risk watching the meter run up no matter how long you are stuck in traffic.

Except the RER B has been running at best 1/2 of the normal trains ever since this all started.
