13 days in Paris and French rivera with kids

Hello,
We are planning on traveling from Paris to the French Rivera in July for 13 days. We prefer to travel by train. We have young children (3 &5) and are wondering if anyone can recommend places to stay ( are there bed and breakfast type places?), nice beaches for kids and things to do in the region? We love to swim but are okay with swimming pools and rivers, etc i.

Thank you for your time ❤️😊

So you plan to head west, traveling out of the French Riviera. Look at hilltop Ramateulle with beautiful beaches below, just west of St-Tropez. Continuing west, we spent several nights in lovely seaside Collioure which I highly recommend.

We are planning a few days in Antibes in July because the beaches were described as more sand and less gravel than further east. We are staying at an AirBnB that mentioned having beach towels, snorkels, and toys for guests. If Visiobulle is still around, a glass bottom boat tour might be fun for your kids; our kids are older and we are planning guided snorkeling.

Are you looking for recommended places in Paris as well? If you want a sandy beach, Antibes. Nice is lovely, but beaches are pebble. Nice has more to do, and easy access to train station for day trips within 15 minutes - 45 minutes - Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, Menton, Villefranche sur Mer, etc. Nice is a six-hour train ride from Paris, but is the way to go vs. flying.
