My wife and I will be in Paris (actually Neuilly) for an extended time (up to a year) and we would like to improve our French, and meet other people in our situation, by attending French classes that are taught in person (not online). We would prefer classes that are taught during the day (we are retired) and are looking for something that is fairly accessible from Neuilly by metro. We are open to how many classes per week the course offers. We both speak some French, but would like to get better. Does anyone have any recommendations for classes? Thanks. Peter

Peter, The Alliance Français on Boulevard Raspail is where I went a long, long time ago. It is still a good place.

Hi Peter, another traditional option is the language school at the Institut Catholique in the 6th. I took a class there years ago and thought it was very good.

I also recommend the ICP. In fact, I'm enrolled to be in a new class starting at the end of September.

There is a French school called French As You Like it on Rue du Petit Music in Le Marais. You could hop on Metro Line 1 in Neuilly and get off the train at Saint Paul.
