Hi... my family is going to Paris June 28 and we are looking for some historical walking tours that are delivered in French as my teen and my hubby are both bilingual. But as I'm doing ALL the planning and I only speak English I thought I would ask here for some suggestions! My hubby wants to do a walk in French while my doughier and I are at the Louvre (he's not a museum guy) he just loves exploring by himself! Thanks! VGL in Toronto Canada
I can't speak for any of these, but there's a whole list available on the official tourism website.
I have gone on the Arab World Institute's guided walking tour called "le Paris arabe historique" and enjoyed it immensely. It included a guided visit inside the Grand Mosque of Paris, which is of course really lovely.
Very much on my list for a future visit is the Richelieu site of the Bibliothèque nationale, but I think those may be on a pause.
Log onto l'Officielle des Spectacles, or buy a paper copy at a newspaper stand in Paris. Go to "conferences" and you'll see dozens of tours for francophones every day.
