I am retired and looking for recommendations for a French language school in eastern or southeastern France. I would like to take a two week immersion class this July. My internet search identified options in Lyon, Nice, Aix and Annecy. It was challenging to find reviews however.

One consideration is that Aix can be quit hot in July.
