There are many of them available in Paris.
Do I need to call and make a reservation before coming, please?
Andrei, if you know of free church concerts in Paris and want more information, look at the appropriate websites for additional information.
Nancy, I did. No information for this particular question!
I’m not sure why nancyrgates has now given you two strange answers, the first one telling you that you spend too much time here. I hope this is some sort of inside joke between you.
Anyway, we’ve been to many of these concerts in churches all over the city. You just show up. Although they are free, the musicians always pass the hat. You don’t need to contribute, but we usually put 5-10 euros in the basket. You can find all the concerts listed in L’officiel des spectacles, available at the newsstands on Wednesdays or herehttps://www.google.com/search?q=officiel+des+spectacles&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari
For the free church concerts there are no websites to consult except L’officiel. Not many tourists go to these free concerts.
Betsy,
Thank you very much!
A lot of interesting info on that website.
Bets, thanks for kindly answering Andrei’s question. I have bookmarked the website for future reference.
In our experience they tend to be mid day -- although some are evenings and they are a good way to explore parts of the city you haven't seen before. Here are a few we did years ago:

Sometimes you are in the elegant sanctuary as at the Madeleine; other times you end up in an airless basement with amateurs.
