I am traveling to Paris mid April and finding some conflicting information online related to the vaccine pass that is required for entry into museums, restaurants, bars, etc. i have read to enter France you must have received the COVID booster within 9 months of the second dose but to get the vaccine pass you must have had the booster within 4 months of the second dose? Does anyone have any insight on this? I am a healthcare worker and received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine in January 2021 so there wasn’t an approved booster in the US within 4 months of that. Am I interpreting this correctly? Another couple of resources say the four months references the need for the booster if it’s been more than 4 months since your second dose of the vaccine.
Morgan — indeed, it's confusing, but you'll be fine.
The four months are for people who don't have a booster.
I.e. if you finished your two-dose Pfizer vaccine schema and don't have a booster, you're ineligible for a pass.
But since you have a booster, you're fine.
But, in any event, as Kerouac says, the rumor keeps flying around that they may do away with the pass in mid-April or so, in which case you won't have to worry at all.
I'm hoping if they are going to do away with the pass they do it before I fork over the 100 plus Euros for my family in early April.
