France Two Weeks

Background.
Been to France twice Already.

Visit places
Paris
Mt.St.Michel
Lyon
Nice
Some Rhone Valley
Country side driving

4 People are going. 1 Has never been to France, the other 3 (including me) have been to those places. Both times were a total of 2 weeks. Flying into Paris. Think I could spend 2 weeks Starting in Nice/Provence/Luberon with a rental car. Pickup in Nice, drop off in Paris or Lyon. Spend my last 2-3 days in Paris. Still havent seen Sacre Couer or Versailles.

Opinions? Kind of want to relax but see cool stuff.

Perhaps, I am the only one but I don't understand what you are asking or the back story. Maybe, some complete sentences would help.

Thanks. Was thinking of skipping MSM and doing more stuff in the south or is there anything to do from Paris ---> Lyon?

".... or is there anything to do from Paris?" Do you mean day trios from Paris?

Dropping Mont St Michel does streamline things for you. Personally. I wouldn't hire a car, but instead confine myself to the many places in Provence & Côte d'Azur that are well served by public transport.

Yes, you should leave MSM for another trip.

With 4 people, so many destinations, and only 2 weeks, I suggest getting in your driving experience in Provence. Spend 5-7 days in the South with the car, then drop it in either Avignon or Lyon. Spend 3 night in Lyon and then take the train to Paris and end there.

The train saves you a bunch of time and give you all a break from each other.

Yah I've been to.MSM anyways. Do you think Lyon should be kept in the trip? Been there twice already.

I think your idea of Nice/Provence/Luberon for 2 weeks is a good plan. It sounds to me that you really know what you want to do and you need some validation. Go for your plan!
