I am planning a trip with a couple others to Paris for 12 days and am looking for an all inclusive travel package. A friend has told me that these different packages can help with unexpected fee’s. Does anyone know of any agencies that are good to use or have had good experiences with? Also would appreciate any tips you all may have. Any advice about visiting the Eiffel Tower?
What do you mean by “all inclusive”? Do you mean a company arranges your travel & lodging (I have done this kind of trip)? Or are you looking for your local transportation and attraction tickets to be included as well?
In some parts of the world “all inclusive” refers to resorts where your food, drinks and specific activities are included in the hotel room rate. I don’t think this exists in Paris.
Thanks for your reply, I am looking for one that includes travel and lodging. That is the biggest stressor of trips for me! I will be flying from Florida so I am not familiar with areas of Europe.
Airlines, Costco, Expedia all offer bundled deals for the plane and hotel.

I wonder what "unexpected fees" they are talking about? Paris hotels are pretty specific on their booking sites about what fees you will incur. I've never been surprised with extra fees. There is a city tax that is paid separately but that is listed on the hotel sites and it's a nominal fee.
You could also get a guide book, Rick Steves has several that cover Paris and give you some options for hotels. Folks here on the forum can also help you out. Since this sounds like it might be your first trip to Europe you might also pick up his Europe Through the Back Door book which teaches you how to travel Europe...lots of good basic information in there.
As Bets mentions Costco does some packages as do AAA. A friend uses Costco and has been happy but looking at where they were staying would not have been my choice as I prefer smaller hotels than what the big consolidators use. Be sure to read terms and conditions thoroughly. There were many complaints during Covid regarding refunds.
Here is the link to the official Eiffel Tower website. You can purchase tickets there. For any ticket purchases, try to book directly with the venue or museum. No point in going thru a consolidator for the same thing you can do yourself.

When are you traveling? Would you want to consider doing a guided tour over a week (Paris) or longer (Paris and some of the rest of France)?
Okay, I was curious. What would happen if I went onto the Costco travel site and asked for a travel package to Paris from Florida for 12 days? Well, I found that they had some "vacation packages", but none of them were made to match the request that I put in. They were all about a week in length and insisted on combining Paris with another major European City.
I don't think Costco will work for this.......
Then I tried a different approach. I went to British Airways and selected 12 days in Paris in October with three people sharing a room and 3 RT airfares in coach. They came up with many options, most of which were at Disneyland Paris.... There were a few near the Louvre and those came out to $2000 per person for flights and sharing a hotel room. That would be one way to approach it.
AAA would be an in person travel agent that you could speak with.
I booked at week in Paris once through United Airlines. You go to their website and select packages. I assume other airlines do this as well. I had my choice of hotel and my selection dictated the cost of the trip. I ended up paying for 2 round trip flights and 7 days in the hotel the same amount as what the same flights would have been if I had booked that independently. In other words I essentially got a free hotel for the week. I didn’t have any extra fees.
How about the Rick Steves Seven Days in Paris - info on this website. Stay a few days beyond or arrive early.

Has this friend ever been to Paris? To France even?
Just curious.
Have you considered a Rick Steve's Paris in 7 days Tour? You could add time at the end for day trips, After a week, you might well have the confidence to venture out with your small group. Rick Steve's staff will help you with air fare and in planning the additional days for a small fee.
