Has anyone used motorvana.com for short term car leases in France or elsewhere in Europe? We checked Auto Europe but like the cars offered on Motorvana more, but we can't find any reputable reviews on major sites like RS or tripadvisor for Motorvana. We'll be leasing for 3 months to travel to smaller out of the way places around France.

I can't help with the car question, but I want to be sure you're aware of the rule limiting people traveling on US passports to a total of 90 days (not 3 months) within any rolling 180-day period inside the Schengen zone. France, like most of western and central Europe, is part of the Schengen zone. Both the arrival day and the departure day count as part of the allowed 90 days. Assuming you don't have long-stay visas, I'd recommend planning for a bit less than 90 days because the unexpected can happen (illness, cancellation of your return flight, etc.) Overstaying the limit is likely to lead to a fine and possibly being banned from returning to the entire Schengen area for a considerable period.

We're dual EU-American citizens so duration of stay is not a concern.
