Hi! Im planning to take a trip from Paris to Bordeaux/St. Emilion and then from there head south to Cassis for a few days before heading back to Paris. Would it be worth it for me to purchase a flexible rail pass for this? Or should I just pay individually for each trip? Thanks!
You can do this with point to point tickets.
It looks easier to fly from Bordeaux to Marseille to get to Cassis than taking the train.
There is really no fast rail service going from the west around Bordeaux to the east around Cassis
Looks like it could be slightly faster to travel Bordeaux > Cassis via Paris (!) than any SW route.
