France - Provence area

In past years, I've been able to order travel literature (maps, city guides, etc.) and get hard copies of them. Now it seems like it is all things to the web.

I have purchased the usual guide books (RS, LP), but like to also get/read through local country literature.

Does anyone know of any web sites or phone numbers one can call to order hard copy literature.

thanks

JD, I agree that it's getting harder to order printed brochures. I've had to content myself with downloading them from the websites to my computer and then reading them on my screen and/or printing the pages I want to have on paper. It may not be as aesthetically pleasing as the old polished brochures but all the information is there. I have done this for many countries and areas of countries and it works ok for me. Here is one website with a variety of brochures for Provence that you can download and save to your computer.

Here is another website that has brochures, some available to be ordered in print.

In the olden golden days we used to visit la Maison de la France, on McGill College Avenue here in Montreal to pick up brochures and maps. It still exists at the same address, which surprised me, and the tel. no. is 514 288 2026. You might give them a call to see if they will send you what you are seeking. Or go to their website for other contact info.

The UK version of Amazon carries some guide books and maps that I was unable to find here in the states. They will ship to the U.S.
