We have round trip tiks to Paris mid June ‘19. Our destination is Provence for a week where we have rented a chateau with friends. Our thought is to drive from Paris to the Loire Valley for a few days to see the castles. This drive seems very reasonable. I would like 4/5 star hotel recommendations for a home base. From the Loire Valley we will head to Marseilles to pick up a friend at the airport and head to Provence, which looks like a long drive. I’m thinking between the LV and Marseilles we will stay somewhere overnight to split up the drive. Any recommendations where would be a great spot to settle for the night?
