When we travel we like to stay in an Apartment..only been for 1 day in Paris from a cruise ship... we would like to explore
an area in France in March...not in Paris .We will probably rent a car to explore the area..suggestions for an Area in France to get our feet wet for March
thank you
Since it's March I would focus on areas of the country further to the south. You could have clouds and rain but you can hedge your bets a bit by sticking to southern France. We love the area in and around Herault. There are miles of vineyards dotted by hilltop towns, it has a beautiful coastline, and is close enough to Provence, the Cevennes, Languedoc, and Spain for day or overnight trips. It's one of my favorite areas of France and is still not overly touristed. We always stay in a small town called Pezenas. The first time was for 5 weeks and we have continued going back.
