I am thinking about spending a week on a full-service canal barge. I’m an old (81 years) woman & want quiet, comfort, & good food. Any suggestions?

I did a search here for France canal barges. Someone mentioned serenitybarge.com, for champagne area cruises. Did you want the Canal du Midi, the Burgundy area, or someplace else? Try the search bar here for recommendations. Choose "forum" and "2 years or less".

We used French Country Waterways years ago and were very pleased with them.
