FRANCE Planning a trip in September for three weeks in this area any suggestions as to reasonable accommodation, train or bus passes?

we are staying in annecy for 6 nights 3ed weeks of september. we rented an a apartment near the lake. how long will you be staying there, your euro budget and how many people?
we will be coming in from geneva after spending 2 nights there, then to paris for 8 nights after on the train.
i've been doing research since this area is hardly mentioned here and saving things to do and places to go. we found our place on TA, with a terrace, elevator, washer, and close to stores, shops, restaurants, cafes to people watch. if interested let me know.
