Food and connections at CDG

Hello! I'll be flying into CDG from SEA in 2 weeks, and I'm just wondering what to expect as far as transferring from 2E over to 2F for my connecting flight to Venice. My layover is 2 hours and 10 minutes, and I'll just have carryon luggage. From what I've read, it sounds as if CDG is a hassle!

Also, is there any fast food to snag in either terminal? The restaurant descriptions on their website are quite vague as to the type of food served. Just wondering if I can snag a slice of pizza or something, since I'll probably be starving after my 10 hour flight. (Note: I'm not opposed to American fast food, so any suggestions are great!)

Thanks!

Bring granola bars if you think you need to keep up your blood sugar. Typical DL/KLM/AF transatlantic flights from SEA include two "meals" - dinner plus breakfast. A 130 minute connect should be OK if your departure is substantially on time but don't count of having time for a meal, even "fast food".

If you are lucky, here is an good airport information link: http://easycdg.com/airport-guide/
Look for the "airside" restaurants.

The caviar bar might be worth a look.

When in Paris, we had good luck with the Paul chain for coffee, sandwiches, and pastries, and they've apparently got an airside location at 2F in CDG as well as a few other airport locations descried as in the public (I assume landside) area.

I transferred at CDG from 2E to 2F in late August and had a similar layover in terms of time. As may people have noted in other posts, connections at CDG can be challenging due to long lines.

When I arrived to CDG from RDU, we were bussed to the terminal, so that took extra time (a good 20 minute wait on the bus). I travel extensively internationally and that was the first flight in many years where that happened on a flight from the US. Security did not take long but immigration did because there were so few people working.

When you get to 2F, there are small places where you can buy a sandwich, coffee, etc.

Bottom line: be prepared for long lines, stay alert for the signs throughout the airport, and pack your patience. Enjoy your trip!
