Fontainbleu on the long weekend

We are planning to visit Château de Fontainebleau on the long weekend during All Saints Day on Sat. by car. What kind of crowd are we expecting if we are arriving early afternoon? Is the line going to be so long to the point where we need to reserve a ticket ahead or can we buy it on the fly?

I've never heard of crowds at Fontainebleau, don't worry. It is possible to pre-buy the ticket, I just had a look and you don't even have to pick a date when you do so, but I don't think it's worth the hassle of creating an accounr.
By the way, the chateau would be free on Sunday Nov 3, since it's the first Sunday of the month.

That's great to know, Balso. Unfortunately, 11/1 will be the last day when we have our rental car. Fontainebleau will be our last stop outside of the larger Paris. We are planning to visit Basilica at Saint-Denis on Sunday, 11/3 though. I believe it's free on Sunday as well right?
