Flying into Paris then train to Colmar within a few hours - help to mentally prepare

We are flying into Paris and taking a train to Colmar - landing at 7:30 AM - train departs airport at 11:21 on a strike day. I am getting more and more anxious about all of this and wanting to work out some of the problems in my head before I arrive, to calm my nerves. My plan is (if everything is running on time) to gather suitcases and head to the train station, I have found that it is underneath terminal 2 at CDG. If I run into train issues to ask politely to take a number and speak to customer service. I will ask them (if our train is cancelled) to reschedule our journey or do they offer additional times that are available? I am not wanting to be demanding (in the nicest possible way) if I don't need to be and wondering if they will be solving the issue for me or do I need to be in advocate mode? I hope that makes sense. I know sometimes it pays to be a bit more firm without coming across as ungrateful. I just want to have it in my mind ahead of time so I can solve any potential issues. I will be traveling with my daughter and mother and will likely be the problem solver, so looking for a little assistance. The VRBO in Colmar is not being very helpful with a possible arrival time situation, so trying to work out in my brain as much ahead of time as I can so I can enjoy the adventure with as little frustration as possible.

Thank you for your help.

What you can do now is look at the train alternatives for your arrival date, maybe print out the daily schedule for a non-strike date. Note that SNCF is currently listing trains through June 16 which WILL be running.
I found the customer service people to be very professional and helpful.

Oddly, what would concern me the most would be that my arriving flight is on time or near to on time. You have scheduled sufficient time to connect but actual arrival times can be very different from those scheduled.

If there were strike issues, I would not waste time at the SNCF office. I would head directly to Gare de l´Est in Paris and just board the next train to Colmar. I shouldn´t think that CDG has many Colmar trains on any given day.

You may not have an assigned seat but a ticket for a canceled train is valid on any available train that same day to the same destination.
