We have a direct flight Atlanta > Nice, FR. I would like to take my wife on a romantic, quiet, beach included part of the time, 8-10 day vacation to the South of France. I’ve heard nice things about Nice, and it might be perfect for 3-4 days. But I would also like to stay in a smaller village, between Nice and Antibes. It looks like late September is going to be our time to go. We have a good budget and prefer smaller boutique hotels or something out of the ordinary. Can anyone recommend a book, or travel advisor for helping us find and create a perfect trip?
I'm going to suggest that you look into Saint-Jean-Cap Ferrat. It's east of Nice rather than west, but I think you might enjoy it. Hopefully you'll have suggestions from others as well.
that's a good suggestion. Cap Ferrat has sand too, instead of pebbles or sharp sand.
You'll have to dig for a place you'd like to stay - it is mostly fancy private homes - and I usually stay a few hundred yards away on the mainland.
