Flight Transfer in CDG Airport Paris - average time through Passport Control

We are traveling in Europe next spring, and our flight from LAX stops first in CDG airport in Paris, then we transfer to another flight to our final destination. We have 2 hours between flights, I'm hoping htat will be enough time to get us through Passport Control and to the next gate.. anyone have experience they can share?

Thanks!

Assuming this is one ticket. You will be entering Schengen at this point and thus go through passport control, customs will be wherever your final destination is, if any. BUT this will be an airside transfer and the airport is organized to facilitate this. Once you know the terminal you land in and the one you fly out of go on line and look at the precise steps you need to follow to make the airside transfer. Here is an example if you arrived at 2E and left from 2F. https://easycdg.com/passenger-information/connecting-flight-connections-paris-cdg-airport/transfer-terminal-2e/terminal-2e-to-terminal-2f/
Obviously figure out what your terminals are and look for information on those. Some transfers involve an airside shuttle.

The important thing is you look and follow the signs for correspondence NOT to baggage claim and immigration. Last time we did this correspondence was off to the left near the stairs down to immigration. (of course it depends on the terminals involved). If you go through immigration and baggage claim with those arriving in Paris you will not make it.

You will go through immigration along that path with other people who are transferring. 2 hours should be plenty of time if your plane is on time. An hour SHOULD be enough but that would be tight.
