Fixed taxi for four from CDG to Airbnb

Hello,
I did a search and found several responses from a couple of years ago. So, I wanted an update. We will be flying into CDG and I am thinking about a taxi for the four of us to our Airbnb near the Park Bois de Vincennes . I saw several things that said taxi's only take 3? So my questions are. First, what option do we have for four of us? Second, is it still a fixed price at this point? The RER seems to be very close in cost and it will be very early for us. Thanks in advance for any help.

This doesn’t answer your question, but near the bois de Vincennes could be within the city limits or outside the city limits. If outside, the taxi will run its meter. If inside, the ride is a fixed price. You need to be aware in advance if it’s city or suburb.

Looking at the map it appears I will be just outside, East of the park. So not really in the fixed rate map.

The key is the address; if it starts with 75, it is in Paris; if it doesn't it isn't. I don't know where the idea came up that taxis take 3. Some on the street do as the driver uses the front seat as his office and doesn't want his things disturbed, but most take 4 and at the airport there are cabs that take up to 7. Fixed fees are 50/55 plus 4 Euro for each person OVER 4 persons. The fixed fee gets 4 people and luggage to their address in Paris. FWIW. we usually paid less before the fixed fares to places we rented in Batignolles and Montmartre. So Vincennes depending on traffic might not be a lot more. But that is a pretty terrible location for visiting Paris.

Taxis can carry up to 7 people and luggage.

The fixed price fares exist between CDG or ORY and Paris. The Bois de Vincennes is in Paris but not areas outside (other than those areas to the west which are obviously Paris).

If near Bois de Vincennes is not in Bois de Vincennes (probably unlikely) or is not in Paris (one of the 20 arrondissements), metered fares apply. Depending upon the time of day and your destination, expect fares to run 50€ to 60€. There is no charge for luggage.

The RER B into Paris (to include any required métro connection to your destination) is 10.30€ per person. If you take the RER B and connect to the RER A at Châtelet, eventually disembarking at Vincennes - the ticket price is 12.50€ per person.

Hello,
Thank you it starts with 24, so I guess it is out of the city. We chose this Airbnb because it seemed nice and wasn't actually in the city center. This will be our fourth trip to Paris, so we are only staying a couple of days before heading out into the countryside. Thanks again.

It seems as if a taxi is the way to go, even if it is a little more expensive. We will be arriving at 9:30 in the morning Paris time, so about 3 AM for us.

I doubt it, 24 = Dordogne, which is in SW France.
Probably 94=Val-de-Marne, which is the south-east suburbs of Paris

Okay, I see what you are saying. Yes it is 94. The address starts with 24. So that would not be in the fixed price area. What do you folks think? Still worth taking the taxi? Should I try to book one ahead of time? Thanks again for all the great responses.

Novel concept......If the fixed zone is close to your apartment (like a block or two), what about having them drop you there and walk? But, looking at the answers, it seems metered may only be 5 or 10 euro more than fixed fare.

I was thinking about walking as well. That might be an option. I was just thinking with it being that early for our time it might be better to just get dropped off.
