First trip to France - 4 Nights

Hello there

Me and my 2 friends planning to visit France ( 4 Nights ) this mid of April. Planning to arrive from Brussels to Paris Gare du Nord

..Booked hotel in tobliac for first 2 nights ..Interested in city walks, sight seeing, food, photography & tourist attractions...

Looking for suggestions for transportation ( choosing right railpass ), where to go and hotel for last 2 nights ....

With only 4 nights I would stick to Paris, there is more than enough to keep you occupied for a week if not more. Even if you decide to venture elsewhere, there is no need for a railpass with so little time.

Two or three carnets of ten Metro/bus tickets each would work better than a pass for three people in Paris for that number of days. A carnet costs around 14€. .Buy them at the Metro station in Garde du Nord.

4 nights is 3 full days. I would not bother with the hassle of a second location with so little time since Paris is so full of things to see and do. If your trip falls between Monday and Sunday of one week, your cheapest pass will be the Navigo Decouverte which requires a small picture (30/25 mm); you buy the car for 5 Euro and charge it for the week for about 22 Euro. If you don't ride the metro very much a carnet of 10 ordinary bus/metro tickets for 14.10 would do fine and you can share those tickets among you and then buy a second carnet if needed.

Why are you going to Paris? Use the answer to that to build out your plans.

If you're not interested in museums, then I hope you like churches! or flea markets and food markets! or sewer tours and cemeteries! You will find plenty of interesting walking and photo routes. Try a Seine river cruise, too.
