Hi all: I have tickets for VlV May 16 candlelight evening, with a reservation to tour the chateau at 9:30 (sunset). I am interested in knowing opinions and descriptions of the fireworks. Is it worth it to get a taxi/Uber/bolt back to Melun (for the Transition R tp Gare de Lyon) after the fireworks? Are they something special? I read a 10-year -old description that said they are gold and white and elegantly beautiful and that they reflect in a gorgeous way off the chateau. Wondering if anyone has seen them recently. P.S. I have tried to book the chateaubus for a late return, but can't seem to manage it via the VlV site. Guess I should have done it when I bought my tickets.
