I see my original topic is closed but I just want to thank all of you for your help in the planning stage for our trip to chateau country in the Loire valley. We ended up staying in Loches which is a lovely little town with lots to do. We, unfortunately, were there on the days when most restaurants were closed, We also had unusually hot weather, 97 degrees in Loches but which is still 10 degrees cooler than what it has been this past week. We did enjoy a lunch at Arbor and Sens on our last day and it made up for everything else. The heat really curtailed our castle visits - we only went to one.
