Favorite Paris Hotels with 2-bed rooms

Hello! I will be traveling to Paris in May with my mother & I’m trying to narrow down our hotel options. I’d like to find a room fairly central with two beds (two twins is fine) for $350 or ideally less per night. On previous trips, I’ve stayed near the Rue Cler & on Ile St Louis, but I’d kind of like to experience somewhere new…that being said, I loved both of those areas & I think my mum, who’s never been to Paris, would too.

I’d really to hear about any rooms with two beds you’ve stayed in & liked. We don’t need a ton of space & don’t plan to spend our time in the room, but we will each have a suitcase (though we’re committed to carry on size only!)

The Henri Iv Rive Gauche makes its double beds of single beds pushed together which is fairly common in Paris thus you can have the room set up as a twin. Small boutique hotel near the Seine, around the corner from Shakespeare and Co and across from Notre Dame. Close to transportation.

Check out the Hôtel Yllen Eiffel. Great location, lovely hotel, and it has many bed configurations and a breakfast I still dream about. It's also right next to a métro stop.

I have not stayed here, but it's highly recommended on this site and elsewhere. It has a junior suite with a sitting room with a sleeper sofa, separated from the bedroom by a luxurious-looking curtain. The bedroom has a king bed that can be separated for twin beds. It looks lovely and is on my "List of Hotels to Explore". It is in the 6th.
I can say that of the hotels that I have requested twin beds (my husband snores) the beds have been separated but only by at most one inch. I visited Paris with my mom years ago and it is such a fond memory.

You don't say how old your mom is, or what if any mobility issues she may have. But I'm going to respectfully disagree with Alexander about the location of that hotel. For your mother's first trip to Pairs, I would recommend something more central.

I especially like Janet's rec and often recommend that hotel for the same reasons she cited.

Thank you all for the feedback! No major mobility issues, and we're fine with the beds being basically together...but I think we both like the idea of separate bedding (apparently, I'm a "blanket hog" and "kick in my sleep" :) ). I'll report back once we make a decision.

I stayed at Citadines St. Germain with my sister in a room with two twins. It was a huge room (by Paris standards), with a kitchenette, desk area, hall closet with ironing board and iron (rare). Perfect location right on the Seine across from the Pont Neuf. We requested a quiet room and ours overlooked an interior courtyard. But some have river views. We paid about $225/nt in April. The only caution is that the bathroom has a shower/tub combo with a pretty big step out of the tub. If that is an issue, I would request an accessible room.

Another plug for Hôtel Yllen Eiffel. I’ve stayed there twice. In 2017 and 2022. I’ve got it booked again for summer 2025. It’s got a metro stop, a bakery and a really good restaurant within one block.
