Pretty sure this is the way I want to see Versaille, just wondering how do you carry your "stuff"?
I would like to bring a bottle of water and camera, I guess i can wear a cross over bag right? Of course in the photos online noone is carrying anything, just being a worry wart.
They advertise shopping for a picnic, do we have to carry it around with us until lunch?

There's usually a basket on the front or back of the bike. Or you can carry a purse across your body. We LOVE the bike tours of various cities and have used Fat Tire backs for Paris. It worked out very nicely. I've not done a bike tour of Versailles, but I'm guessing it would be a very nice time.
We did this tour. It was a lot of fun and yes, there is (was) a basket attached to handlebars. You can carry your stuff there. Also there were two water bottle holders attached to the bike's frame and water for sale in the shop where we met before starting the tour. I also kept small, important stuff in my jacket pockets, wore a money belt for my really important stuff and my husband carried his small backpack well,...on his back. I think you'll enjoy the bike tour; we sure did.
I saw a couple of groups at Versailles this fall and they had baskets on all the bikes. It looked fun.
