Does anyone have a recommendation for a traditional farmhouse in the Dordogne region? I'm looking for a place that would be great for a family of four (two adults and two children younger than 10).

Try Gites de France. They should have lots of options, and are well established. I've never used them but they have been highly recommended by others, including many on this board.
