Family friendly hotel recommendations for first time visitors to Paris

Hello!
First time visiting Paris and I am looking for hotel recommendations.
Close to Luxembourg Gardens? Close to the Eiffel Tower? Kids are 10 and 6. We will only be in Paris for 2 1/2 days.
Thank you.

It’s near impossible to offer meaningful suggestions without budget guidance, preferably in euros, and knowing when you are in Paris. Hotels for this year and next will not be easy to find. Book as early as you can.

We're taking a grandchild to one of the Citadin apartment hotels: bedroom, living room sofabed, dining table, kitchen for breakfast and light meals. We've stayed in them before and find them adequate, nothing fancy.

Bets do the bedrooms have real beds? I stayed in one in Belgium several years ago with a Murphy bed.

thanks - I've steered away ever since that experience.

Maybe time to try again - just not in Belgium. Or maybe they've updated too...

I stayed at the Citadines and it was right on the river on the Quai des Grands Augustins. It was within walking distance of Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, and lots of other things. I loved it! They have rooms with kitchens, I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel you might consider:

Staying near the Luxembourg Gardens would be a perfect location and my choice with kids. My son grew up there playing at their playground. They also have a carousel, marionette shows, donkey rides, cafés, crèpe stands, and bathrooms.

And best of all, you can rent small sailboats by the half hour to sail on the Luxembourg Gardens main fountain pool -- kids love to do this and it is a delight to watch and photograph -- might be the thing they love most about the trip
