We'll be in Bayeux in September 2024 to see the tapestry, cathedral, etc., as well as to tour the World War II sites. Also hoping to rent bicycles and see more of the countryside. We'd be grateful for bike rental info, as well as suggestions for pleasant routes starting from Bayeux. My husband and I will be with our adult daughters, but we're not looking for a strenuous journey -- just exercise out of doors and lovely scenery. Thank you so much!

Petite Reine in Bayeux is one listing I can find. Cycling in Normandy can be renting a bike and riding or an organized tour with chase vehicles, baggage transfers and nice hotels and dining every night. Even in September roads near the coast are crowded and the countryside is gently rolling with some sharp hills to negotiate. Above all you’ll be competing with road traffic. So there are pitfalls but cycling Normandie is fun!
