Hello. I'm looking for any fabric stores in the central part of Strasbourg where I can buy quilting or other yardage. Something unique to bring home.

I was looking for the same thing in Paris. I googled 'Paris fabric stores' and found some that way. I also discovered that in France it is called patchwork, not quilting.

Will you have a car when you are in Strasbourg?
Mulhouse (I think it is less than 2 hour drive from Strasbourg) is the "fabric center" of the Alsace region. There is a fabric museum there. It might be a good location to look for fabric shops. Also, between Strasbourg and Mulhouse in the town of Ribeauville, there is a table linen outlet, Beauville. I realize it's not quilting fabric, but if you're interested at all in linens, it's a great shopping experience!

Not a fabric store (although I think they do have some yardage), but with beautiful trimmings, ribbons, etc., is La Droguerie, 20 rue des Serruriers, across the street and down a half block from the Hotel Gutenberg.
