Eze -le-Village to Eze-Bord-de-Mer

Rick's book mentions a hike (downhill) from Eze -le-Village to Eze-Bord-de-Mer. Does anyone have first hand experience with this walk? Is it worth doing? It would let us stay a little later in the Village as the buses appear to stop running back to Nice about 7:30pm.

Thanks.

I’ve done it — make sure all in your party have strong knees. It is a hike with some pretty steep descents, not a leisurely stroll down. It's been a while since I’ve done it but it was a bit wild in places.

it is quite a steep hill between the two, some quite steep. And the walk down from the top near the hotel and Jardin Exotique down to the road is pretty darn steep too.

As Kim says, get those knees wrapped up.

The main path is known as the "Nietzsche Way" (chemin de Nietzsche), as when Friedrich Nietzsche lived in the area he used to walk it for exercise.

Also I note that you're talking about doing it in the evening. I wouldn't attempt it after dark as I don't think it's lit, and I'd hate to think of you falling over a cliff.

Thanks to all for responding. I'm going to forget my original idea. If we are leaving Eze Village after the buses have shut down, we will just take an Uber or taxi to get to Eze-Bord-de-Mer. In my younger days, I've been on mountain trails with a headlamp after dark (not on purpose) and it was no fun. At age 71, it is a non-starter.
Thanks again.
