I expect that the carousel with the luggage is after immigration but before Customs, in the secure area. Can a person from the outside get in there? I would have thought it a security risk.

If you have wheelchair service from the plane can the attendant help with lifting the (hopefully not too heavy) luggage of the carousel?

All of the companies that offer the service are going to have that disclaimer on their website. They’re not going to open themselves up to a lawsuit when they didn’t meet you to carry your luggage

Air France is probably just as good as any of the others that are being offered.

I hired Estime for some very tired visitors coming to France to stay with us. It worked exactly as said. They were waiting at the plane, fast tracked them through passport, picked up the luggage and took them to the train.

I spoke with Air France this morning about their meet and greet services. They said it was subject to having the staff available to honor the request. They did not evoke confidence. We would rather pay for this service and be guaranteed vs any surprises. My sister and I have each had back surgery and want to protect our backs lifting the luggage off the carousel.

Ask them about handicapped services.

I work for a company that pays for this a lot for executives and I’d say we have about a 75% success rate overall. It means about 25% of the time these things don’t work out. That’s particularly true if your flights delayed or if it’s very early.

Yes, the "meet at the door of the airplane and take you all the way through to your transportation" service providers have the security clearance to allow them to do that.
