We are bringing our family from Calgary, England and Toronto together at Cannes in August. We have an Air BnB with a pool booked and will also spend time at the beach. However we are planning a day excursion in a van with a guide somewhere in the area. Any suggestions as to what place/places would be fun to see with 5 adults and 2 little boys ages 4 and 6?
Antibes
Juan les Pins
these are along the water, if you want extra hot go up into the hills
Check out the RS rec'd restaurant at a coop in Antibes for desserts that the kids will swoon over.
Thanks for the suggestions. That sounds like a fun area to consider.
Hi. I think you should consider some villages in the hills. My favorite one is St Paul de Vence, already close to Nice. Nearer Cannes an option is Mougins with a beautiful square and great arts shops, restaurants and views. There is a small Picasso museum. . Less touristic is Biot. There is a fantastic pottery museum and shop there.
If the children play an important part in your decision, in Antibes they will for sure enjoy watching the fantastic yachts in the habour, I heard Marineland closed, it used to be a great place for children to enjoy dolphins and even killer whales
Pat here is an interesting RS video
