This past Monday/Tuesday my family and I (me, husband 15 and 19 yr old sons) did a day trip to Bayeux and Normandy. We booked a private tour with Olivier at Normandy 44 tours.
I cannot express enough how incredible this was and I credit it to Olivier, our wonderful guide! He was knowledgable, considerate to our needs (was on the cold, rainy side) and funny;)!
He is obviously passionate about what he does! His maps allow you to visually picture yourself in the area as he brings to life the scene.
In addition, his wife was quick to respond to emails and just as helpful and accommodating, an experience I did not have with Overlord.

Our guide with Overlord Tours was a Brit named Oliver. If it's the same, sounds like he's gone out on his own.

He actually was a founding member of Overlord but is French. Actually think his name is Olivier (as in Lawrence:) but says "Oliver" for the Americans :)
