We have Eurostar tickests from London to Paris on June 6. Is the Eurostar likely to be affected by the stikes? Was it in previous strikes this year? Just wondering if we should be buying a backup ticket for June 7.
Would a flight from Paris to London be a safer bet than the train? Or are both just as likely to possibly be affected?
I was there during strikes earlier this year and a couple of days before the Eurostar posts what trains would be affected.
On the strike days while we were there never were all the trains affected. I would just keep my train reservation and watch their site and see if they even cancel anything but if they do, they’ll give you a couple days notice and let you rebook to one that is running.
