Europcar rental return at gare de Lyon, Paris

Looking for advice on actually finding the spot to return the car. Where do you pull up and what do you do with the car? Is there a sign on the street or a building? Is entrance on Rue de Bercy or Van Gogh? I don't want to circle the block several times. Thanks in advance.

Most of the time, rental returns to stations are inside the parking structure attached to the station. The street address on your contract or voucher may not help you as that could be the address of the train station, since most of the time the rental agencies are inside the walls of the station but the cars are in the parking structure. You need to find the entry to the Gare de Lyon parking structure. Hopefully, someone who has picked up or returned to Gare de Lyon will give you the street with the parking structure entrance so you can look on Google. It can be maddening to find if you don't know exactly.

I've dropped off a car there and it is very tricky. The Europcar agency is inside a parking garage across the street from the station on Rue de Bercy. There is NO SIGN for Europcar that drivers can easily see--it is just a small plaque on the side of the building. Go to Google Street View and carefully look for this parking garage. Its entrance is just before a pedestrian overpass. There are two garages right next to each other--you want the first entrance with the purple exterior--not the more official-looking second entrance that has a big blue P and an Avis sign. Plot your route carefully, because if you miss the turn, there are only one-way streets around the station and it will be difficult to "circle the block." Once you are inside the parking garage, be prepared to go down 4 or 5 levels. At least there are Europcar signs inside that will direct you to their floor. Be prepared to park in a tight spot and be sure to write down the parking stall number. When I was there, there was no one in the garage from Europcar. I had to take the elevator to the station level and find their offices to drop off the keys and do the paperwork.
