I am traveling to France in May 2026. I can't seem to find a way to fill out the application for an ETIAS to travel to France. Is this document not necessary until later in the year?

As per their website: "ETIAS will start operations in the last quarter of 2026."

It is not necessary. Who knows when it will start. The start time has been delayed a million times already.

You can't find a form because it doesn't exist. It keeps getting pushed back.

Implementation has been delayed countless times. Maybe it will start this fall, maybe. However, no ETIAS in May.

As noted, your airline will start pestering you if/when this is due. It's their responsibility, right or wrong.
