Hello helpful travelers: I have read various posts about Orange eSIM and that sounds like what my husband and I would like to do. It appears that pre-purchase on-line is a good way to go; however we are not going directly to France. We are flying to Hamburg and then Norway (fjords) on the Queen Mary 2. So when we arrive in Paris it will be 10 days after leaving home. We will want the 14 day Holiday Zen plan. Any tips on the best way to do this since we are not leaving the US for Paris directly?
( We won't have a reason to use our phones during the Hamburg/Norway part of our trip.)

You are able to buy it, set it up at home, and then just turn it on as you are leaving Norway or arriving in France.
